ABOUT 1ST CHURCH KIDS

We love our children and believe they are an important part of our church family. At our church, kids are encouraged to participate, learn about Jesus, and grow in their faith in a safe and caring environment.

During our services, children have opportunities to be involved and learn at their level. Our goal is to help every child feel welcome, valued, and excited to come to church each week.

NURSERY

Birth to 4 Years Old

Our nursery provides a safe, clean, and loving environment for children from birth to 4 years old. Caring volunteers are dedicated to making sure each little one feels secure and well cared for while parents participate in the service.

We count it a blessing to care for your children and help them experience God’s love from their very earliest years.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Ages 1-4 Years Old

Our Nursery/Preschool class provides a safe, loving environment for children ages 1–4. Through simple Bible lessons, songs, playtime, and caring attention, little ones begin learning about Jesus in a way they can understand.

We want every child to feel secure, happy, and excited to come back each Sunday.

EARLY ELEMENTARY

Pre-K through 3rd Grade

Our Early Elementary class helps children build a strong foundation in God’s Word in a fun and engaging way. Through Bible lessons, hands-on activities, music, and discussion, kids learn how God’s truth applies to their everyday lives.

We encourage questions, participation, and growing friendships as they discover more about Jesus.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Pre-K through 6th grade

Children in Pre-K through 6th grade begin the morning in our main worship service with their families. After Children’s Time with the Pastor, they are dismissed to Children’s Church for a lesson designed especially for them.

In Children’s Church, kids enjoy age-appropriate Bible teaching, activities, and discussions that help them understand God’s Word in a way that connects with their everyday lives.

PRE-TEEN

4th through 6th Grade

Our Pre-Teen class is designed to help older children grow deeper in their faith as they prepare for their teen years. Lessons are age-appropriate, interactive, and focused on understanding Scripture and applying it to real-life situations.

We strive to create a welcoming space where pre-teens feel valued, heard, and encouraged in their walk with Christ.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly VIP host will show you where our Kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have.

SAFETY

Volunteers at Kids on a Mission are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles.
